Overview of Built-in Storage

1. S3 Bucket for Each Site:

1. Every site created on Hostjar.io is automatically assigned a dedicated S3 bucket.
2. This bucket is designed to store all your static files, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and media files.

2. No Key Limits:

1. There are no restrictions on the number of access keys or operations for the built-in storage.
2. However, Hostjar.io monitors for any abnormal or abusive activity. If detected, we will take immediate action to ensure platform stability and security.

• Seamless Integration: Built-in storage is automatically configured for each site, requiring no additional setup.

Using Built-in Storage

1. Automatic Assignment:

1. When you create a new site, Hostjar.io assigns a built-in S3 bucket to it by default.
2. You can start uploading files immediately using the drag-and-drop interface or file manager.

2. Choosing Storage During Site Creation:

1. While creating a new site, you can choose between Built-in Storage or a Custom S3-Compatible Storage.
2. Important: Once the site is created, the storage option cannot be changed. Ensure you select the appropriate storage type during setup.

Important Notes

• Abuse Detection: Hostjar.io actively monitors storage usage for any unusual or abusive activity. If detected, we reserve the right to take immediate action, including suspending access to the storage bucket.
• Custom Storage: If you prefer more control over your storage, you can configure a custom S3-compatible storage solution during site creation. However, this choice cannot be updated later.

• Storage Access Issues: If you encounter problems accessing your built-in storage, ensure that your site’s configuration is correct.
